I was changing a few parts around on my future build and got a compatibility error with the P9X79-E WS saying that it will not be compatible with the Corsair 750D. Surely this can't be true? If it is, what other case options are out there that would be compatible with the mobo?

The Workstation – Motherboard: ASUS P9X79 WS | CPU: Intel i7-4930k @ 4GHz | GPU: EVGA GTX 780 Superclocked | RAM: 32GB G.Skill RipjawsX 1600MHz | Storage: 250GB Samsung EVO SSD, 3TB WD Green  | PSU: Corsair AX760i

The Server – Motherboard: ASUS M4A78LT-M | CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 240 @ 3.0GHz | RAM: 4GB 1333MHz | Case: Silverstone PS08

The iMac – CPU: Intel i7-2600 @ 3.5GHz | GPU: Radeon HD 6970M 2GB | RAM: 16GB 1600MHz | Storage: Hitachi 2TB 7200RPM

It's a CEB form factor motherboard (https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P9X79E_WS/#specifications), which uses ATX mounts but is slightly longer and slightly wider. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSI_CEB)

It uses the same mounts and I/O as an ATX board. Just make sure the case supports E-ATX and you should be good to go.

last night watched TheTek Video  (10minute mark) and they ran into the same for a

"non-ATX" form factor board and they used a work around of a faux stand-off

mounted to support the weak corner. they mounted the mobo in a fractal R4.

Oh nice! Thank you for that, I'm glad knowing that it will work with a bit of tinkering.

he just inverted a stand-off and allowed it to support the missing support.\

don't mind mentioning something that might help.
