RTFM

(Read The Frickin' Manual)

Seriously though, all the instructions you need should be in the case and motherboard manuals. Read completely through both of those. If you are confused after reading them, then read them again and use a pen/pencil/highlighter to make notes. If you are still confused after that then come back and ask specific questions. We can't help you if you just say, "I'm having issues".

That's a fair enough thing to say, I am being to general in my questioning. I'll go read the manuals and hopefully figure it out

I realize that came across sounding very crass (and I should have noted that you are a brand new member) but you have to understand that the forum in inundated every day with posts/thread of people asking questions that can be solved by simply reading the manual/instructions or through a basic Google search. Learning how to reason through a problem is always, alwaysalways the best thing to do because then you don't need to rely on other people as much in the future. The whole, "teach a man to fish...." thing, and all that jazz....

Like I said, if you're still having trouble after reading the manuals then came back and ask any questions, but be specific. There are lots of people on the forum that are very willing to help you out, myself included (despite sounding like a total a-hole for our first interaction), especially if you are willing to put in a solid effort and don't just try to have someone spoon feed you the answers. A lot of people on this forum love to help others learn.

Oh, and welcome to the LTT forum!! xD

What kind of problems are you having though?

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

I completely understand it's fine, my main problem, and I know this comes across as very stupid, is just where to install my motherboard, the manuals say "insert on correct position" which isn't very helpful.

There is a rectangular cut out in the back of the computer case that is there for you to insert the I/O shield. This is where you will place the motherboard I/O (all the plugs that are on the back of a computer). Watch this guide to get a better understanding of how everything goes together. There are also a bunch of other build guides from LTT and other YouTubers. Once you're watched the video, let us know if you have other questions.

Depending on the brand of case, the motherboard stand offs may or may not come pre-installed for a standard ATX form factor motherboard. If you have a standard ATX motherboard and the stand offs are pre-installed, then you don't have to worry about it. If you are using a mATX or mITX then you will need to remove/re-position some of the stand offs.

The most important thing to remember is to take is slow and always double check your work before moving forward with the build, and if you are not 100% sure, then ask questions.

Coming back a while later, now have successfully finished my pc. (If a little sloppily but nothing I can't sort out) Thanks for your help.
