Do you really need to upgrade? Maybe the gpu if you need more power

Actually I was thinking something about storage and beauty because I don't really need power so bad.

how about your display? are you happy about the size/ panel type/hz rate ?

its always nice to think about going big from a like 22" 6hz TN panel to a nice big IPS panel

depending on the games you play you could target 60hz or higher

and with a bigger display like 34" 1440p comes the need of more gpu power

then you should swap this ASAP ... IMO the input lag from a TV is horrible

The only things you could possibly need in that computer (assuming you're gaming) is maybe a better CPU cooler (but probably not if you're already happy with whatever overclock you have).... maybe more RAM, as in some situations nowadays, 8GB is sometimes not enough, and RAM is so cheap so its an easy upgrade.

The only other thing is additional storage. Get a large HDD to go with that SSD if you find yourself running out of storage room.

Then there's the GPU. a system can always benefit from a better GPU, although its certainly something you dont "need" if you already have a 390, that should be good for a while still.

this should fit your budget and help you get rid of the TV display

or http://pcpartpicker.com/product/rkphP6/asus-monitor-vg248qe

if you need more hz and can increase the budget a bit

These are good suggestions but the right Sub-forum is  New Builds and Planning... where you know... planning happens- This one is for people who are building can show progress.
