Sound Issue Help Please

My microphone picks up sound fine but say when i am in a call with someone on Skype etc they will hear what ever sound my headset is giving out say i'm playing a game they hear that and themselves talking so i don't know a lot on this nor, do i know what information i need to provide. p.s. i thought it was the headset so i bought a new one didn't change a thing. Not really sure on this any help or suggestions is really helpful this has been such a issue for a while and i don't know how to fix this so :) thanks in advance

Simplest solution is to disable Stereo Mix.
