I'd like some advise about Windows 10 and how driver updates are handled.

Should I consider drivers that Windows 10 installs by default as the latest, stable version of the driver or should I bother to manually check and install them?

I ran a utility called DuMO that checks for the latest versions of drivers (see attached).

I have run Intel's Driver Update Utility and it does not list any of the out-of-date drivers DuMO does. I am confused.

just check for and install all windows updates

anything needed will be updated through there

otherwise dont update any drivers unless something specifically is not working

To my knowledge, Windows isn't going to send you beta drivers of anything. There might be a way to force them to, but by default they're supposedly the stable versions only. And as @Enderman said, unless something isn't working just stick with the ones Microsoft feeds us. As to why new ones are available, I have no idea.

Normally the progams that check driver versions aren't that usefull and often malware. Normally with drivers if your not having issues its fine the way it is. Id If windows update installed a driver its probably fairly new and fine to use.
