4790k + Corsair h55 temps

I decided to take a look at my CPU temps for the first time in a while (first bad sign), and i noticed that, with a 4790k and corsair h55, i was hitting around 45 degrees celsius idle.

I ran Firestrike as well, and during the physics test, the CPU hit 77 degrees celsius.

Both the processor and cooler are approaching two years old. Are these temps too high, and if yes, what approach should I take to solving the issue?

Thanks everyone for your time

The H55 is not a very high-performance cooler. It's a thin single-rad. Those temps are normal.

I used to be quite active here.

I wouldn't call it a bad cooler, but it's not super high-performance.
