SSHD Not Showing up in windows but does in the BIOS

Syde

Hey guys,

i was building a pc for a good friend of mine, but when we had gotten windows installed on his main ssd, the sshd mass storage drive didn't show up in windows.

so i looked in the BIOS if it was detected and it said that it was correctly detected and was working fine.

does anyone have an idea for how to get it working in windows?

all help is useful.

Have you been in the manage tab in windows and created a new volume on the disk ? If the disk I brand new it may not have any volume yet

Go to Disk Management, check for a drive that's offline on the list, right click on it and initialize it. Then you should be able to use, partition, etc.
