Thermaltake is a company that likes to mixed two or more different platforms within a series, so it is often confusing to keep track of them. Unlike the 750w counterpart, the Thermaltake Smart 650 is based on the CWT DSA-II -  identical to the Corsair CXv3.

 

In the same price point, you could get the Antec Neo Eco II 650w. It's the new, updated APAC-version (Asia-Pacific) version of the VPF model as shown in this review but with 100% Japanese caps and sleeved cables (rather than exposed multi-color). It's a better quality and better performing unit than the what you are getting.

ended up spending a bit more and got this

its not the best, but its plenty of wattage, good build quality and has good reveiws including from johnyguru...

also semi modular...
