Phone as PC mic issues

SuspiciousBadger

So I recently purchased the ATX M40X's and trashed my old 'gaming headset' with a mic away. I found this app in the Google Play store called Microphone, using an AUX cable you can use your phone as a mic for your PC.

At first this app worked perfectly fine, now everytime I connect my phone with the AUX cable me and my friends hear a high pitched buzzing noise, the phone also produces weird noises if the volume is turned up. I don't know how to fix it and since the quality the app gives when it works is perfectly fine (It sounds better then my old mic according to my friends), I would like it to work.

Im open to any suggestions ^^

Thanks alot!
