You find out that 1 out of the 4 fire stations in your city actually is staffed. And that there are only 3 police officers whom patrol the city. I live in Romulus,MI. So like when you fly in to Detroit Metro Airport you are flying in to Romulus. Takes our police like 2 hours to respond to a call. I guess thats what the second amendment is for. I didnt realize it was this bad. I know its not the city's fault, but its unacceptable. Not to mention the railroad blocks intersections for hours on end. So if the fire truck is on the other side of the tracks, well you house is fucked. Funny thing is, the railroad actually did block the tracks for a fire truck in a neighboring community. I guess I need to get my degree and move the hell out of this state. Maybe move out to Colorado where my friend lives.

I have only seen the county sheriff twice in my life. Its just like going to Wayne. You never see the police. Plus keep in mind, Detroit is in bad shape too, and the sheriff has been helping fill the gaps there. Why people are pissed is there is always the cop on I94 who is getting people for traffic violations. But it takes them 2 hours to respond to someone breaking in to your house or defacing your property. One resident said they saw an odd car driving down the street with what they thought was a weapon sticking out the window. It was a paint ball gun. The resident almost pulled a pistol and shot the ass hole. Kids now days dont understand.
