Hey all,

So I am planning on adding a 500gb ssd to my current rig that's in my signature and create a 1tb raid0 array. On my current ssd, I have my os installed, so is there away to create the raid array while maintaining data on the current drive? Also, if that is not possible, is there a way to retrieve the product key of the os and reinstall it on the raid array?

The easyiest way to do this would be to make am image of your boot drive using dd in a linux live disk or anouther cloning program. You then make the RAID and then copy the files back and expand your drive. You can just make it a raid 0 with the on board raid in a intel mobo or with windows(you can with some linux partitions or some hardware raid cards.)
