yes, they're still using the same mounting mechanism.

As Herman mcpootis said, they both use the same mount, so there is no problem with the compatibility!

The stock mounting system on AMD platforms have not changed much.

Socket AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / AM3+ / FM1 / FM2 / FM2+ all use the same mounting.
