CPU PCIE Support

Okay, so right now I have a Intel 4460.

When I check the specs of it on Intel's website, this is what it shows,

Does this mean that if I get a GPU I cannot use any other of my PCIE lanes?

No, because your southbridge also provides PCI-e Lanes.

If you use anything other than a graphics card in a PCIe slot, it'll most likely use the chipset's PCIe lanes.

The chipset has 8 PCI lanes so you can go with 1 more GPU or 1 expansion or M.2 Drive but i wouldn't suggest that you will go with 2 way GPU on 4460

Okay so to clarify, I have a MB which has 2 PCIE x16 and 1 PCIE x1 slots. So I can use 1 GPU and something else right?

The GPUs would go x8/x8 (which wouldn't make a difference performance wise) and the other device would use the chipset lanes.
