Overclocking the GTX 670.

Ok i have a quirky card, it seems to push much further than whatever i actually put inti MSI AB, for instace i put +100mhz, it boosts to 1250mhz.

I put it to +150 and it boosts to 1352mhz????

 

Funny though if i added a bit of voltage it most likely was stable at 1352, stock volts and no artifacts in Valley but the driver ended up crashing about 2 mins into it.

Use 361.75 - the newer drivers are volatile

Memory is at 7ghz too.

The card will automatically fluctuate clocks and voltages. Because you're merely offsetting the value, the clock speed will still change around.

 

That's from my experience with amd and nvidia

This is all weird to me, i still don't get how it's boosting to nearly 1400mhz from just 150+ on the core.

Oh nvidia cards will autoboost

because you're offsetting, it'll just boost how much its set to boost +the extra

LOL well with just +25 voltage, it does 1312mhz stable and 7ghz on memory.

Quite an impressive card, likes to OC by the looks of it!

I said the same thing for my r9 270x

just be careful not to damage the voltage regulator modules by overvolting too much
