I am having an issue where crossfire isn't working in XCOM 2. I have two Sapphire R9 280 Dual-X OC Edition cards, I have the latest Crimson driver, and I have the AMD optimized profile selected, but my second card sits there completely idle while playing. I tried googling it but I can't find anything relevant/recent, so I'm not sure what's going one. Has anyone else had this issue or know of some settings that I need to change to get it to work?

Yeah, I already read about that. That's from back in Feb. Like I said, I already have the latest driver and I have the XCOM 2 crossfire profile enabled.

I just booted up Skyrim and its crossfire wasn't working either, so I think Windows might have gone and re-enabled ULPS with the update on Thusday, so I'm going to check that right now.

It was working just the other day. Did you not read the part of my reply where I said that I think Windows might have re-enabled ULPS with the large update that was released on Thursday?

Yeah, ULPS was re-enabled. I'll just have to check it every time windows updates.

Just last weekend when I was resetting everything after having to replace my motherboard, after struggling to get it to work, I know that crossfire was working for Skyrim, Fallout 4, and XCOM 2. I just tried all three games after disabling ULPS again and its not working at all. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!?!?

I have stuff I need to get done outside before dark, so I'm going to have to deal with this debacle tonight. I'll let you know what I figure out later.

same motherboard?

or what to what?

My ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer motherboard died on 29 May and I replaced it with the Gigabyte GA-990FX-G1 Gaming motherboard. Yes, I did a clean install of Win10 to remove everything (settings, drivers, apps, etc) from the previous motherboard.

@spartaman64 @LabRat

Ok, so apparently the crossfire working last weekend was a fluke. There were about 6-7 instances of EnableUPLS in the registry that I had to change, and somehow all of my games we switched to windowed mode, so now that I've changed the registry and put them back in fullscreen mode Crossfire appears to be working correctly.
