Afternoon peoples,

I'm about to built a new PC, and wanted to know if this Flex PSU will work for me.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA6PW3S08854

PC setup require 300-350 watt total.

Mini-itx MB, GTX 960-970, 2x8gb ram, i5-6600k, May/May not OC.

Why that psu? form factor is most important here.

I know it's design for server, but it has the amount of juice I need, I just don't know how their power is distributed; like can it run, will it be stable, etc.

I'm a novice, do excuse my mistake.

Flex ATX PSUs work in only very specific chassis, usually server units. What is the case you're putting your components in?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Welcome to the Forums!

A flex atx of that capacity would be enough for your system but I would probably go for something a bit more reliable as I've never heard much form solid gear.

I'd think it should be fine, but it will probably be rather loud when stressed (or maybe even, always).

I'd also suggest you get a GTX-1070 or RX 480 rather than a GTX-970 for the lower power requirements.

Btw, I haven't heard of Solid Gear or FSP, so I can't say if that matters.

Have you checked to see if an SFX power supply will fit?

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD
