i'm from Germany and want to build my first gaming PC soon. I just wanted to ask you guys, if everything, I chose so far, is compatible and wether my PSU delivers enough power for the system.

If you have any suggestions for better parts, just leave them below.

Thank you!

(And sorry for my english if I made any mistakes :P)

Drop the motherboard down, no need to spend so much money on one, MSIs lower end Z170 boards are just fine, so are Asus

Get 2666 RAM, you are running Z170, its not much more and worth in some games

The Strixx is grossly expensive for the 1070s (atleast in the UK) why not MSI or Gigabytes offerings?

Get a decent SSD, 850 Evo is pretty much the one to get

Your PSU is fine, but you can save money and grab an EVGA 600B and it will perform the same

Do mean something in the price range of the Z170 Pro Gaming or even cheaper?

I'm gonna choose the exact GPU when all the variations are available, until know the Strix is only 10€ more expensive than the FE...

Thank you!

Yeah, unless you are planning on purchasing Doom (Don't know if that offer is available for you) there is no reason spending so much, a board in the price range of the one you mentioned will do just fine

That makes a lot of sense!

Nooooproblemo

I have to disagree with your last comment. The EVGA 600B is nowhere near as good internally as the Corsair RMx. The Corsair unit has a 10 year warranty for a reason.

My bad, didn't realise the warranty was that much longer, does help to do research instead of going off memory

Yeah spending a good amount on a well built PSU is good, you keep the same PSU for many builds so it pays itself off over time.

I think I'm going to stick with the RM550X. I'm not planning to use SLI or similar in the future, so I'd rather invest in continuity.
