BootMng missing

Go to solution Solved by Jaydon,

but the problem is now the second pic, this is happening on a retail copy of windows 7 pro, because of the fact i formatted i am unable to do anything above

Resolved, went to the microsofty website and doesnloaded an ISO of windows 7 pro then put my product key in :), all working good now!, thanks alot for your help and sorry to waste any of your time.

Hello!, So heres my issue when i started my PC vL3xLlm.jpg  , so i just said, "yeah yeah no big deal ill just repair or even reinstall windows", but this is where my troubles started, after mounting windows to my USB drive i inserted it and selected repair, well that failed, so i went to just completely reinstall windows, and this happened around 40% of expanding windows files A0V4bv6.jpg

I think this may help you in my troubleshooting, this is my component list.

Memory 8GB or DDR3 600mhz Purchased in march of this year

GPU Ati radeon HD 7770 also in march of this year

HDD Hitachi 1TB HDD purcahsed march last year

CPU AMD FX- something, its unknown because its a limited edition sent to me by AMD.(received in april)

Mobo, Gigabyte GA-970A-D3 AM3+ (march this yr)

after looking around i seen a post to swap my memory sticks around, i did this and no fix.

I know this copy of windows works because i just used it less than a week ago to reinstall on the same computer.

So far i am led to beleive that this is a HDD error, could this be possible?

anyway. cheers alot, i hope you can help me, so that i can get back to feeding my gaming addiction

No no i stay

yeah, each time i have been selecting format disk before i install it, as every time the error comes up it leaves the installation files on there

How did you put it on a USB?

Ok. So you are getting the errors when you try to install correct? After you go to repair and choose the OS you want to repair(Not sure if this step even exists anymore) find the option to open a command prompt. Then use the command Bootrec.exe and let it do it's thing

Typically you would solve the original problem by:

1. Put in windows install disk/usb

2. Run start up repair

3. After startup repair, go to cmd prompt

4. run "bootrec /fixboot"
