g710 macro question

Is to have M3 be persistent across all of my games, or would I have to set that up manually?

EDIT:

I want to have the functions assigned to m3 be persistent across all of my games. Is that possible?

These are the M keys on the top left of the keyboard. They change the assignment of the G keys on the left side of the keyboard through the Logitech Gaming Software. For instance M1 could have G 1-6 be a specific set of keys or shortcuts, than M2 could assign different keys or shortcuts to G 1-6. So forth all in one profile.

What I want to do is leave a set of shortcuts assigned to M3 and have that carry over whenever I launch a new game or application.

why would those change when launching a game/program? isn't it global by default? at least for me it is

You can set it to be default if you want, but you could also have each game and application use its own profile when you launch said game/application.

persistent profile forces said profile to always be active. I only want 6 of the 18 assignable keys to be active at all times and let the other 12 change with the profile I have set up for a game. I may just need to manually assign these functions and keys.
