Relocate GPU

Has anyone ever tired to relocate their GPU? Ever since I saw Lian-Li's PC-05 case I fell in love with the showcasing of the graphics card. Unfortunately I wont be spending $350 on an mITX case. If anyone know where I can find the PCI extender cable that they used I can fabricate the brackets at work.
