Hi there,
Just want to ask if Sandisk Extreme Pro is much better than Samsung 850evo (im talking the 250gb version of two)
i cant find an real world comparison of those two so i'm going to ask it here.
and if Extreme pro is better than samsung evo does the price/performance ratio is also good?

I am planning to use it to improve the rendering of videos specially in after effects.
currently i only have:
Amd a8 6600k (planning to upgrade this after the SSD)
GTX 960 (Planing to switch on rx 480 later on)
16 gb 1867 hyperx fury.

also if its okay can u give me advice about my specs and about my planning upgrades. TY

A SSD won't help in the rendering of videos.

a8 6600k apu with dedicated gpu? seems like the best decision ever lol =) . what i know about ssds is that if you buy a good one, not the cheapest piece of shit from unreliable brand, they will all basically last very very long. i have 850 evo, no complaints. this might help you, tho benchmarks... well, make up your own mind. they aren't necessary always the best way to compare: http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/SanDisk-Extreme-Pro-240GB-vs-Samsung-850-Evo-250GB/2356vs2977

but the one thing that helps rendering more is buying a good gpu for example. ssd will improve the time to move big files but i would be more worried about the horsepower from your pc instead of ssd. i guess that was an important add

Hi there, i thought ssd will help my rendering improve
so what do you advice to improve my rendering?

Nope, a faster CPU and GPU would do that

Hard drives don't help render things...

The CPU and GPU (if GPU rendering is supported) is what renders and encodes everything.

In your case AE does support GPU rendering, but your 960 is fine.

Your CPU should probably be the thing you upgrade to help out rendering, So perhaps an AMD 8320 with a new motherboard.

Upgrading is unfortunately more costly than you think for your needs.

EDIT: But don't forget, if you get a new motherboard, you have to re-install your OS and start fresh all over again.

Spoiler

So all in all SSD wont help rendering? i just probably get a good cpu and gpu?

yes. well, ssds do help in some things, but it shouldn't be your priority right now. depending on your budget, i would get new cpu and gpu. cpu would be first on the list since its a piece of shit
