Go to solution Solved by dragoon20005,

and Intel used to make CPUs in Malaysia

I just while looking through a box of old pc parts found a cpu that is non LGA.  It looks like this on what I'm guessing is the front. And the back is just a bunch of black bumps. There is no die cover visible so idk how it's cooled. Anyway on that metal peice is engraved :53220470(or O I can't tell)AE  all one word. The next line down just says MALAY and the bottom line says

CR       322. Any ideas?

Cool! Thank you for helping me!

The pin layout are different,  That Pentium has pin layout in in 3/2/3/2. The pic on that one has the pins in 3/3/3/3. Could be a really old Cyrix cpu

Take a better pic.

If it has no intel or AMD logo, I am guessing it is one of the Motorola 68000s series processor or something similar to it from the same era.

You don't see the motorola logo on it by any chance?

This is a Motorola 68040

***Edit***

I think it is actually a 486 processor.

I think it is actually a 486 processor.    It won't let me get rid of this quote.   Anyway my grandpa, the person I got it from said it was one of the first pentium processors. Is that the same as a 486 thingy?
