I've done multiple clean installs and the same issue is always present.

I'm always using a cable, and I've tested using wifi (Wifi to phone, tethered to PC) and then I get the full 10Mbps.

I've tested multiple different drivers and have uninstalled certain software that I've used for proxy's and such.

Not sure how much googling u did but have a look at this if u havent already

Greetings!

Somehow, for some reason, my upload speed is limited to 1Mbps (Or even less, currently rocking a rock hard 0.3Mbps) even though I'm paying for 10Mbps up. I get 10Mbps up on my phone, laptop, tv and on any other computer I hook up, it's just my main desktop computer that is limited to 1Mbps for some reason. If I tether the computer via the phone, I get 10Mbps up.

Hardware: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3, Killer E2201 LAN Chip.

Software: At the moment, I'm using the "Killer E2200 Gigabit Ethernet Controller (Driver Version 9.0.0.39) " that the gigabyte page about my motherboard suggests I use. It comes with this 'Killer Network Manager' software, which is basically cancer.

I've had this issue for almost two years now, I've tried fixing it myself but to no avail. I've changed drivers countless times, googled everything I can think of and I'm now out of ideas.

If anyone wants any more information to help me troubleshoot what's causing this, I'll gladly supply anything required.

its sound like your getting 1 MB (megaBYTE) up, which is about what you should get if you pay for 10 Mb (megaBITS). 1 megabyte = 8 megabits

Yeah... No.5400510068.png

As I said in the OP, I've had this issue for almost two years now.

And, as I also said, I'm getting the full 10Mbps on everything but my desktop.

Scan it for malware and viruses.

Check every single Service and options in network settings, antivírus settings. I know on win 7 there was an option to dedicate a certainity percentage of download speed for windows uploads etc. Maybe something similar is happening on your main PC.

Have u tried cable and wifi on that PC ? Do you ha e drivers installed for wifi/cable ?

Clean install windows as last result.

Nothing else come to my mind.

Connection200mbps / 12mbps 5Ghz wifi

Open the network and sharing centre and see what it says for your connection, does it say "private network" ?

No, Home network.

I have found that unless my adaptor was set to private network that the internet connection was restricted, but if you have no problems with download speed then I'm guessing that isn't the case as your download looks fine..I don't know what to suggest then really. It's an odd problem as you'd normally have probs with both DL and UL

I've actually never seen that, mind if I ask exactly what you googled to find it?

It solved my problem and I'm obviously terrible at googling.

Though, I've mainly been focusing on the drivers being an issue since I'm forced to use the drivers and I get the full 10Mbps if I bypass the ethernet all together.

Edit: I'd also like to thank you dearly :)
