S7 Edge micro-sd card - Will it slow down the phone?

Go to solution Solved by Lurick,

The only thing it could slow down is access of items stored on the SD card itself, beyond that it won't slow anything down. I've got an S7 with an SD card in it myself and I have plenty of stuff stored on it and don't notice any difference between local and SD storage access times.

Accessing something stored on the card will be slower than accessing something stored on the phone, but it won't slow down the phone as a whole. Apps installed to SD card will likely take longer to load unless you get a really high end card. However if you just use it for media and the phone storage for apps, you should have no issues.
