Joining the Red Team

In celebration of GPU14 i'm working on a new build!

Corsair Dominator Platinum 1600MHz CL9

Samsung 840 EVO 500GB

Corsair AX760

Bitfenix Prodigy

GPU - TBC (Waiting for R9 290x/280x)

Cooling Specs

EK Supreme LTX - Acetal/Nickle

EK D5 Vario Res Combo 100mm

Alphacool Nexxos 240mm x 30mm Rad

Always nice when you get a little something for free!

Stripped everything out of the prodigy. Coming from a TJ-07 i was a little sceptical about the options available for a small form factor case. But gotta say its a really well built and designed case. removed all the HDD racks, and the plastic SSD mount on the back panel.

After measuring and visualizing the way I could fit both these rads in there I committed on it and bought them. And yes it was tight. Literally millimeters tolerance.

Finally got them in, although i did need to drill some holes on the front for mounting the 200mm rad at the very base of the case. The standard 200mm mounting points on the prodiy are raised above the floor of the case.

Motherboard arrived the next day. Ain't she pretty.

I'm really glad i chose the black acetal block instead of the clear plexi. Looks stunning

Pump in.

The mounting on the bracket wasn't quite right to go directly onto the second SSD holes. So again a little DIY job.

And begun pluming it all in.

Not entirely happy with this one, its not far away from kinking.

To Do!

Stress and Bench!

MDPC Sleeving - Fans/24pin/Front IO/Pump

R9 290x/280xP (+full cover acetal block in the future)

Bitfenix Front Panel Mesh with red surround.

sweet!

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.
