on my A8 Prusa i3 3d printer When i raise the extruder up the Z axis and measure at the white mounts then align the right mount will be 1/2 of an inch lower every time i set the Z axis to home. Any ideas?

if you are not clear on anything just ask. I am bad at explaining

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work.

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.

Either a software issue or something is wrong with the justage. Thx, now I have to use my Prusa for something ;)

Is your print bed also connected with screw and 4 springs? Maybe one of them is hanging somewhere so the bed changes its position?

the Bed? the issue is coming from the axis with the extruder on it not on the bed

Check the connections for your two Z motors, check that both threaded rods can spin freely, if not, wd40 is your friend.

I don't think it's a software issue as the Z motors are addressed as one on the prusa i3 as they are supposed to move together as a unit.

i know it is not a software issue as when i take the threaded rod out and run the motors they both spin together. I will try WD40 and get back to you.
