School Mac/Gaming

So a friend of mine needs a Mac computer for school and he wants to use it for some gaming as well since he can't afford to get two different computers (think Fallout 4 with medium-ish graphics.) He's going to be dual booting it with both windows and mac, so my question is: what kind of Mac should he get? Thanks for all answers, you guys are awesome.

You're not trolling us? And they're dead set on a mac? The Macbook Pro is the only one that's portable and has a dedicated GPU. Still stupid, but it's literally the only choice.

Why does he need a mac? You can't really get any decent gaming performance out of a macbook at any reasonable price
