i5-6500 or i5-4690K (or Non-K) with H170 or Z97 Mobo depending on the cpu. It would noticably improve the performance.

480 sounds like perfect choice atm :) we will know more when we get benchmarks.

i5 6600/k depending on if you are overclocking or not and im guessing you wont be video editing and stuff

What spartaman64 said, or if you are video editing, an alternative to the i5 is a Xeon-e3 1220 V5.

My brother has it, and it edits video better than my I5

Depends on what you're using it for.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

Only yours, you don't shitpost on the same level that we can, mainly because this thread is finally dead and should be locked.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

Thanks for the suggestions, somewhat new and inexperienced in the pc community as I was a console gamer my whole life up until last summer, how much of a difference would a new mobo make?

Mobo doesnt make any difference in performance but Intel and AMD have very different chips so they need different sockets (thats where u place your CPU). So u cant mix AMD mobo with intel CPU or vise versa AMD CPU with Intel compatible mobo.

Intel CPUs are best for gaming and best for work. AMD doesnt compete with them atm.

Ahh I see, are there any cheaper mobos on the market that would still be beneficial to me? Trying to work on a budget.

Yes. Intel has 3 types : B, H, Z.  B is the cheapest and it gets more expensive when you move to H or Z.
