Move from iCloud to Google

Hi.

 

Lost my iPhone, so I bought a new Nexus 5x. Now Id like to sync my contacts and pictures from iCloud with my Google Account.

I have all my photos in iCloud Photos, and my contacts are stored in the backup of my iPhone that is stored in iCloud. Is there a way to retrieve them?

If you log into icloud from your browser and navigate to the contacts webapp, there will be an export button towards the bottom. You can then upload the file to Google contacts.

The problem is that the contacts are in my iPhone backup in iCloud and not directly synced with iCloud.
