It peels off. It is just hard to get your fingers under it.

Hey Everyone, So I've had my LTT Noctua since their release but I pulled it out of my rig last night in preparation for my new build which will have it as a centerpiece, and noticed that on the main sticker for the center of the fan that says "Linus Tech Tips Special Edition" there is bubbling under the surface and around the lettering. There doesn't appear to be a protective skin that your supposed to peel off like many products do these days, but I don't want to dig around and destroy the thing just to find out. To those that own the fan, was there a clear protector that you had to peel off that sticker? Thank you!

Are you sure? I bought 3 of the 1st batch of LTT NF-A14's and there isn't a typo.

I think he is referring to the air bubbles and the typo was his own :P

lol yes that was my own type. Did you remove any clear vinyl piece on the three you bought?

I haven't bought the LTT variants but I do own few industrial models and there wasn't a protective layer if that's what you're asking. Not sure about LTT models though.

No, they are all still in their boxes. Anyway, are you talking about the round sticker, the case badge or the fan itself?

Still couldn't get a finger under the rim so i scraped the surface with a knife until it wrinkled enough where I could grab it with tweezers. Looks SO much better now.
