Japanese Gov't requests not to post Google maps on homepages

Japanese government banned the local authorities and state-run universities from using maps provided by Google on their websites, as some of the Google maps include foreign place names that undermine territorial claims by Japan.

The Japanese government said, according to sources, "Some registrations in the electronic maps on the homepages are incompatible with Japan's stance,"

Japan's an asshole over this issue. Sorry if you're Japanese, but they have some bullsh*t claims over land that belongs to some other countries but they just don't care and are claiming it for the mother Japan because natural resources. Japan can take this sh*t deep up their ass. Good job Google, just keep it up.
