I was wondering is it worth it or should I just 'mix my brands'

Power supplies? No, not unless you already have a super nice build (over $2000)

 

AIO cooler? Maybe, if you plan to get an AIO sure.

 

I don't know what else corsair makes that supports CL :P

What do you mean use corsair link? I only use it to check temps of my PC and change the color of my AIO cooler. Otherwise I never use it. Not really something to write home about

Which in hindsight was pretty worthless. Sure it'd change color based on temperature, but if I really wanted to know the temps, I'd just fire up HWMon.

I got corsair link with my h80i. Its very clunky software and its generally useless except for changing aio color. I could careless about it.

corsair is a very strong and quality company. usually half of the PC parts i buy are from corsair, and I'd say that corsair link is helpful, but not totally necessary.

Corsair products are good but the Corsair Link software is complete garbage, speaking from personal experience. They are still a good company but don't plan your build around Corsair Link, it's junk.

I have an corsair hx850i psu and never used link, but I did with the h100i aio to set fan speeds and color. If you do get a corsair aio, replace the fans. The fan bearings on my h100i started going bad after 4 months...

I used CL for about a week after I bought my AX760i. Since then I have opened it maybe once. Honestly I wouldnt be spending any extra just for the CL integration.
