Adapter chain just for one fan

So I was swaping the case to my computer and I have a extra fan slot on the case and a extra fan but I have no extra slots on the motherboard and I also don't want to plug in the 4 pin molex wire into my psu because I want to keep things clean so I searched arround my room for a sata to 4pin molex, a 4pin molex to fan, and a low fan speed adapter and boom the daisy chain of adapters just to get one fan working without the extra clutter of hiding 4 extra 4 pin molex plugs

 

did any one you do somthig similar with a daisy chain of adapters to get somthing working

I did basically the same thing once, worked perfectly. Be careful of bad molex adapters though, they are apparently notorious for getting really hot and even melting/lighting on fire.
