I used alot of different places to compare prices, get sale alerts, buy discounted gift cards to places where I was receiving afore mentioned sales alerts. Here's a liste of a few tactics. Sorry, I'm not familiar with a 1 stop buy and build shop, but I'm sure it'd be easy enough to find a local shop that could do it for you if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself.

Sites:

Newegg.com

Amazon.com

Microcenter.com

bhphotovideo.com

tigerdirect.com

cdw.com

ncixus.com

research/price comparison/deals:

pcpartpicker.com

reddit.com

slickdeals.net

dealnews.com

techbargains.com

raise.com (discounted gift card site. Sometimes there are some good deals on Amazon gift cards)

I hope this helps!

Last computer I built for my wife I got everything for it off of amazon, My rig I got most of it from newegg with about 20 percent of the parts from Amazon.

As mentioned there is already a thread about this.  Locked.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
