I am considering a new monitor and I am down to 2 choices, one 29" FHD widescreen and one 27" FHD. Is the widescreen worth the extra aprox US$50?

Widescreen: LG 29UM57-P

Normal: AOC I2757FH

1080p on 27" doesn't look too good, pixel per inch is really low. 29" 2560x1080 is much better, plus you get all benefits of 21:9 aspect ratio. Out of those two you mentioned I would definitely go with LG one.

You are talking about ULTRA widescreen. And at 29" maybe, but at 34" HELL YEAH.

I'd get the 27" though i think
