Hello there, I am going to build a new pc by the end of the month and I've been wondering which setup will be better. I'm not planning on upgrading it for at least 3 years.

i5 6500 + R9 380/480 or i3 6100 + GTX 970?

could get a xeon 1231v3 for about the same price. And it has hyper-threading if your into that. Also, keep in mind the RX 480 is coming. so by end of month, we could have specs for it comparing to the R9 380 and could save some more money there since AMD says it will be 200$. But, all is food for thought here.

The 480 benches had leaked a while ago, outperforming a 980.

I know right, I need to see this.

It's releasing at the end of this month, at $199 for the 4GB version and $229-250 for the 8GB version.
