I'm switching internet providers and my mom is concerned that she will have to change her email everywhere.  I told her she should use Gmail.  If we used the feature in Gmail to import incoming mail, will it work after the old CenturyLink email is turned off?

The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma.

I'm not 100% sure but i believe if you shut down another email account you wont be able to pull the incoming messages from it.

I am going to guess that the CenturyLink email account is attached to the ISP? I would suggest asking them this question. They would be better equipped to give you a more reliable answer.

The only thing we have to fear is... Stupidity...
