its imho the best air cooler money can buy, its just pure amazing, put it this way, i bought a kraken x61 280mm aio, and it gets the same temps, no joke and it cost me £45 more, but i wanted more space because sli.

it's a degree or two less than the Nh-D15. it is fantastic.

The NH-D15, PH-TC14PE, Silver Arrow SB-E, and other large air coolers perform similarly and are quieter.

The R1 Ultimate is one of the giants and best performers for air cooling but it certainly isn't the best overall.

So long as we are not talking extreme overclocks, or poor through case airflow it will be functionally equivalent to most 280 AiOs.  Probably will not get the exact same temps, but near enough to not really make a practical difference.

Not in my findings, ny findings says it has better temps

from checking reviews it's within margin of error of the other giants of air cooling like those mentioned above or the dark rock pro 3
