Too expensive for standard ram?

I'm a huge fan of Avexir core series red ram sticks, but on newegg and every where else i've only seen green and blue and the reds are out of stock on almost every site I visit. The color red and green are about 33$ for 8gb (4x2) which is about how much standard 2400 MHz ram is. The leds are the main thing, otherwise Newegg has 8 gb ram sticks for around 25-30$

well, it costs them money to put the leds on there, hence why they're more expensive

It's just the color red... The blue and green leds are 33 on newegg

Maybe just grab some  decent 8GB sticks then?

I mean paying a premium for just a strip of leds come on...
