So i am planning on building a gaming pc this year. I need help with the parts and such due to me being new to pc building and this would be the first pc build of mine.

Parts listed due to me being from Europe and i didn't feel like going on some american sites to find these parts..

The parts i have planned on getting;

- Asus Z170 Pro Gaming, LGA1151, Intel Z170, DDR4, ATX

- Asus Strix GTX 970 4gb

- Intel Skylake i7-6700k, LGA1151, 4GHz, 8mb

- Samsung SH-S224FB DVD+RW

- Kingston 480GB SSD

- Seagate 2TB Barracuda

- G.Skill 16gb (2x8gb), Ripjaws V, DDR4 3299MHz

- Phanteks Enthoo Pro, ATX-towercase

- EVGA 1000W ((or 850W)still haven't decided which)G2, 80+ Gold

- Noctua 120x120x25 NF-S12A ULN 800rpm

Of course there is a few things i will still need. And a question. I am using a wireless headset so do i need a sound card ?

Any help is appreciated :-)

Just gaming? And no, you don't need a sound card. What's your budget?

My budget is 2000€ which is around 2250 USD

Don't buy a GTX 970. Wait for the GTX 1070.

The psu is overkill. A 750W is more than enough for SLI.

You could drop down to an i5 if you are just gaming.

Is that SSD the Kingston SSD Now ? If so then swap it for something better such as a Samsung 850 Evo.

You don't need ram that fast. A 2666MHz or so is usually the good spot for price/performance.

Unless the 1070 isn't going to be available for a long time or is inexplicably ridiculously expensive that would be a better deal, if you don't mind a few issues that come with having the newest card out

Would be worth waiting for the 1070, or if that's too expensive the 480.
