It doesn't really matter if you never saw the other movies. They barely connect now with all of the time travel and whatnot.

I just saw it earlier today and watched Days of Future past the night before (or morning lol) but I don't fell it was necessary but definitely helped especially if your not a super huge X-Men fan as myself. Also I thought the movie was one the best I've seen so far this year.

X-Men is one hell of a franchise. Someone dies, time travel, no one died. Someone dies, time travel, no one died. But IT WAS AWESOME!
