Can I still use this CD-R?

djdelarosa25

So I was trying to find a blank CD around to burn GParted (I ran out of DVD's, too lazy to go out and buy some) when I suddenly stumbled around this CD-R. I put it into the drive and boom, it shows up as this. Is this still usable?

Except when your partitioning your drive it might be corrupted and corrupt your drive(I think)

That won't happen. The worst that will happen is G-Parted just won't load. Also, OP do you not have a spare USB drive you can toss G-Parted on?

Hey :)

The drive appears to have some data written on it so I don't think it will allow you to write on it.

You can use a spare thumb drive if you have or simply get other optical disks :)

if that disc is not finalized then you can still add more data as a multi-session disc. A burning program like Nero is needed to do multi-session disc. If I remember it correctly, if that blank disc can still be burned, then your gpart data will no longer be accessible after you've burned the new set of data.

Can use MagicISO to create a multi-session disc
