ok so I went on my gaming PC and realized it wouldnt connect to the internet this fairly common (its a pretty shit computer) so i started troubleshooting and it said my problem was with my network adapter now the same thing happened in February but it fixed itself in like a week so I dont know why its not connecting please tell me what i can do short of replacing the damn thing to fix the internet and stop this from happening

Is it adapter card or mobos LAN? Have you tried installing/reinstalling latest drivers from manufacturers support site? Does it do that randomly or related to some event (power loss, local connection issues, windows update etc.)?

go to device manager in windows and select your networking driver.

 

go to it and ask it to check or an update(if there is a connection)

 

otherwise, if your using windows 10 you can launch the networking trouble shooter by right clicking the networking option and let it do the diagnostic and repair

I tried that it said no updates were available I also tried updating my os and it just shut off my computer
