Dont use anything from TP-link, they are shit, i wouldent use that PSU, 380 is better preformance but also look at a used 970 if you are planning on using shadow play because this was a gaming and recording PC right?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

Would a Edimax EW-7612Pin be good?

Just now, I need a better name said:

No, CX PSUs are fire hazards

That's not true, even for the older units.

The CX450M is fine. I'm assuming you're thinking of the CX430M which had ambient temperature "issues".

Really? Thanks for telling me.

The one you've picked is fine. It's a 2015 model which doesn't have the same issues as the older units. It's not a great PSU, but is definitely not a fire hazard.

Yes 380 is a little but better, but at the cost of two things power and noise. Power I really wouldn't worry about, and I'm not entirely sure if there's a quiet aftermarket cooler. But if you value silence the performance drop in 960 is really quite minuscule
