"Quality" is relative, and when you're talking that price range, you're at the low end for sure.  But there are definitely sets within that price range that span the gap from horrid to actually half decent.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Any ideas of "half-decent" ones?

Actually my sister's planning to give her Bose speakers. Not sure about the model as I don't have it yet .

The big BUT is that it's 110V so I will need to buy a transformer (to 220V) for it to be useful.

Sadly, 220-to-110 transformers are expensive to the point that I can buy new speakers.

I would definitely stay away from Cyber Acoustics iirc.  Logitech are pretty good imo
