Best home entertainment system

Hey guys I wanna buy a home entertainment system like one of those that has the subwoofer and the speakers but which is the best one? I dont wanna spend over 400$ but I want something that will handle alot of bass if you could help me out that would be great! thanks!

Surround or two-channel?

 

Either way, a BIC F12 subwoofer will make a lot of noise, if not very elegantly. Throw in a pair of bookselves and a home theater reciever and you're good to go.
