I've been using 9.1 for gaming, I really see no difference in any version of Windows (even vista played evey game perfectly)

it's not about the game performance,it's about mostly bugs that can appear in the middle of the game and stuff...

Like what, this is why Ives always said people who think vista is bad is dumb. Because o used vista to game for over 2 years on my first build and I had zero issues with anything.

In my opinion Windows 7 is way better and Microsoft fucked up since Windows 8(Tablet Interface, Cortana in W10)

From my experience moving from Windows 7 to 8.1 made almost no difference in FPS. I've got maybe 2 more FPS in BO2 but that may be because i've removed everything. You should keep using Windows 7 and maybe do a fresh install.

Also, i've used Windows 10 for a couple months and i'm happy i'm a Linux user now. It supports less games but i like it way better then Windows since:

  1. No Microsoft account needed
  2. No Cortana bullshit
  3. Way more faster

tho win8 is faster overall, and that's an important thing for me

to be honest i dont like the newer windows versions either but you can turn cortana off no problem and windows 10 is way faster than 7 when it comes to boot and loading times. its just better optimized for ssd's and will get longer support and dx12.

I gotta say you don't need a Microsoft account for 10, you just gotta know what you're doing to avoid using one, even apps can now be installed without the windows store meaning you can get away with never entering a Microsoft account now without any sort of diminished usage.

As far as gaming, the difference between 7 and 8.1, for the most part you won't see any significant difference, there might be a few games that play slightly better than margin of error on one or the other, but not worth the cost of the OS license. Seriously though don't try to use the original 8, it was legitimately horrible, 8.1 was decent.

Personally though, since you have 7 I'd upgrade to 10 if anything, CCleaner can uninstall a lot of Microsofts bloatware and spybot antibeacon does a pretty good job of shutting down the 10 chatter, everything else is just knowing how to set it up, which there are literally hundreds of guides about how to do it. More and more games are gonna get dx12 and 7/8.1 won't get any of that...Personally I wanted to be able to go back to 8.1 without the fuss of reinstalling everything I had if I didn't like 10 so I cloned my drive and then installed 10 on the clone
