Doesn't look like it will last very long. I would either contact Cooler Master and try to get a replacement or just buy another one, it's only like $14 USD.

Does this happen if you supply it with straight 12V DC (no undervolting/PWM)?

Just replace them. Most people have fans just laying around. Do be careful not to overspend, though. While the EVO is a nice budget cooler, premium fans can be 20+usd depending on what you're looking for and for push pull, you're at 40 minimum if you get a pair of Noctuas.

I figured as much, what i tried to do was ask you if the fan behaves as described when fully juiced. Like whatthe_fuzz said, try upping the fan speed manually. Fans can have issues if they don't run at some sort of minimum speed. It almost sounds like the fan behaves like they're too much undervolted

is it new?

ive had TONS of fans run fine for a month at low RPMs but one day they'll just die out.

So according the the msi control center software the cpu fan at 100% is only running at highest 343 rpm, while stress testing it.

well in that case, its more than likely dead.

Heatsink fans arent known to be the best quality ESPECIALLY on budget coolers.

up the voltage and buy a new one.

I suggest the NF-F12 if your feeling good :P otherwise grab Corsair SP

What makes a fan degrade can you like put oil in the bearings or clean the dust out of it to make it last a little longer?
