MSI Afterbruner GUI only opens once after boot

I just installed MSI Afterburner (4.2.0). After the first install the GUI did not seem to work at all. After a reinstall the GUI opens once Everytime I boot the PC. After that AB starts in the background but the GUI does not appear. I use Win 10 and have a GTX 680.

 

I already searched for the problem and found that Geforce Experience could be the problem. As far as I understand: disabling casting to the Nvidia Shield might fix the problem. I want to use the shield however...

 

Am I doing it wrong? First time using AB...
