The Crew - Worth It?

Hello! ^^

I want to buy this game, but  I feel little confused... I have some questions about The Crew.

1) Wild Run - is it DLC or what? and is it necessary to play now? What will my experience be like if will purchase only The Crew?

2) Will The Crew stay online for a (reasonably)long time? No shutdown or new part to come out any soon?

This game is dying very quickly, even on steam stats player count is decreasing. Only 206 people on steam playing this game right now. Also here is the steam chart showing the player count.

Umm any similar alternatives?  Like The Crew or Forza Horizon 2 (PC ofc)? Because I've already completed Forza 6: Apex (for now), GRID series, Dirt Rally, and other

I'm not really into racing games but have you tried Need for Speed Most Wanted ( new one ) which was also Free on Origin "On the House" section few months ago.

i must say the need for speed (free one) is pretty garbage but need for speed has sort of the same concept.

I played it (because it was free) and I didn't like it. Just a bad overall experience.

hmm, but sadly there aren't any good racing games out there right now with large player count.

Oh wait, also check "Spintires" on steam but its not a typical racing game, more like a driving sim but its fun also its multiplayer.

most likely wait till there come new racing games there is one on steam forgot the name linus played it one time with triple 4K screen setup. maybe try that one.

or maybe try BeamNG drive to crash and race it's more a sandbox game with mods etc

Yup, played it alot too  Launching it from time to time)

I've even completed SLRR + mods

never played the game before tho seen alot of video's on youtube but not really intrested to buy it.

The game itself is one big bug

But it is unique in this genre because I don't know other game, where you can build a modded (or not) car from scratch, including pistons and camshafts in engine and finishing with suspension settings ;D

And also race and damage it later)

Hovewer, ingame physics is.. Umm... No comments

maybe already checked out crossout it's in closed beta now but you can build your own car and fight again other players in multiplayer very nice game but i don't know if you can get acces now.

If I don't care about how much people are online: should I buy it?

And is Wild Run is necessary to play it?

Also there are rumors about new expansion is coming soon.

But will the keep The Crew alive with this small amount of people playing?
